Intel and Samsung will be responsible for building most of Tizen components. Similarly MeeGo, Tizen towards mobile devices like smart phones, tablet, netbook, IVI (integrated electronics in the car) and Smart TV.
All the components of Tizen is open source. The first version of Tizen scheduled for release in quarter 1 to 2012 along with the SDK supports development.
