Tizen: new operating system of Intel and Samsung

"The child fell" MeeGo, resulting from the combination of no lasting between Nokia and Intel, have been "reborn" after Intel links with Samsung. And Tizen, open source operating system for mobile devices, officially launched today.

 There were a lot of side information about the future of Nokia MeeGo after leaving the project to develop OS mobile devices work with Intel to move forward to the Windows Phone, long-term cooperation with Microsoft. Just ship a smartphone Nokia N9 using  MeeGo is only available on the market, Nokia has turned its back on "children" of their cause Intel is no longer eager to MeeGo.

 
Nokia farewell, Intel will join Samsung joint construction projects operating system called Open Handset Tizen, based on Linux through the support of the LiMo Foundation and the Linux Foundation. Tizen will combine elements of MeeGo and Limo, focusing on supporting applications on the same API HTML5 and WAC.
Intel and Samsung will be responsible for building most of Tizen components. Similarly MeeGo, Tizen towards mobile devices like smart phones, tablet, netbook, IVI (integrated electronics in the car) and Smart TV.
All the components of Tizen is open source. The first version of Tizen scheduled for release in quarter 1 to 2012 along with the SDK supports development.
